Educating yourself on how to live a healthy lifestyle can be a little like learning a new language. There are new words, new numbers and even some calculations. You may not even know where to start. Let us help you and your child learn this language through our youth fitness training program.

We have all heard of terms like “calorie”, “protein” and “carbohydrate,” but could you explain what each nutrient does to your body?

When educating yourself on a new subject, it’s important to start by understanding the language and terminology used. To help you get started, here is a list of some of the most commonly used terms, their definition and a healthy fact about each.
